Indiana, Pennsylvania, is a borough located in Indiana County at the intersection of the Indiana and Conemaugh rivers. It has a humid continental climate with warm, humid summers and cold, snowy winters. The borough was founded in 1796 by George Clymer and named after the Native American tribe that had previously inhabited the area. Indiana has a rich history and heritage, with many buildings and sites listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
