Hrymayliv is a town in Ternopil Oblast, western Ukraine. It is located in the Podillia region, on the Hnyla Lypa River. The town has a population of around 10,000 people. The climate is humid continental, with warm summers and cold winters. Hrymayliv was first mentioned in historical records in 1437. It was granted Magdeburg rights in 1565. The town was a center of trade and commerce in the 16th and 17th centuries. It was also a center of Jewish culture. The town was destroyed by fire in 1675 and again in 1768. It was rebuilt in the 19th century. Hrymayliv is home to a number of historical and architectural landmarks, including the Church of the Assumption, the Dominican Monastery, and the Jewish cemetery.
