Honeyville, Utah, is a small town located in Box Elder County, approximately 75 miles north of Salt Lake City. The town experiences a semi-arid climate with hot summers and cold winters. Honeyville was settled in 1860 by Mormon pioneers and was originally known as "Honeyville City." It is named after its founder, Thomas Honey, who was a prominent member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
