Höheischweiler is a municipality in the district of Südwestpfalz, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is located in the southwest of the Palatinate Forest, at an altitude of 450 meters above sea level. The municipality has a population of around 900 people. The climate is temperate, with average temperatures ranging from 5°C in January to 20°C in July. The history of Höheischweiler dates back to the 12th century. The village was first mentioned in a document from 1156. In the 14th century, Höheischweiler was granted town rights. The town was destroyed in the Thirty Years' War, but was rebuilt in the 17th century. Höheischweiler is home to a number of historical buildings, including the Evangelical Church, which was built in the 15th century, and the Town Hall, which was built in the 18th century.
