Highspire is a borough in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located on the east bank of the Susquehanna River, opposite Harrisburg. The borough has a population of 2,399 as of the 2020 census. Highspire was founded in 1866 and incorporated in 1888. The borough is home to the Highspire Steel Mill, which was once one of the largest steel mills in the United States. The borough is also home to the Highspire Historical Society, which operates a museum dedicated to the history of the borough.
