Hajmáskér is a village in Veszprém county, Hungary. It is located at 47.1451300 latitude and 18.0196400 longitude in the Central Transdanubian region of Hungary, in the valley of the Séd stream. The village has a humid continental climate with warm, humid summers and cold, snowy winters. Hajmáskér was first mentioned in 1239 as "Haymaskyr". The village was the property of the powerful Kőszeg family in the Middle Ages. In the 16th century, it was occupied by the Ottomans. After the Ottoman conquest, the village was part of the Eyalet of Budin. In the 18th century, it was resettled by Germans. The village has a rich cultural heritage, including the Roman Catholic church, built in the 18th century, and the Protestant church, built in the 19th century.
