Hajdučica is a village in Serbia located in the Vojvodina province, in the South Bačka District. The village is situated in the geographical region of Banat, at an altitude of 85 meters above sea level. The average temperature in Hajdučica is 11.2 °C, with average annual precipitation of 638 mm. The village was first mentioned in 1476 as "Hajdukovo Selo", and it was inhabited by ethnic Serbs. In the 16th century, the village was conquered by the Ottoman Empire and became part of the Sanjak of Segedin. After the Treaty of Karlowitz in 1699, the village became part of the Habsburg monarchy. In 1751, the village was settled by ethnic Germans, who named it "Heideschütz". After World War II, the ethnic Germans were expelled from the village, and it was repopulated by ethnic Serbs.
