Gervais, Oregon, is a small town in the Willamette Valley with a population of approximately 2,500 people. It is located in Marion County, about 20 miles south of Salem and 40 miles north of Eugene. The town was founded in 1852 by French-Canadian settlers and is named after Joseph Gervais, a fur trader and explorer.
