Gentingen is a municipality in the district of Mayen-Koblenz in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is located in the central part of the state, about 10 km (6 mi) south of Koblenz. It was first mentioned in a document in 1220, and it was granted town privileges in 1354.
