Fort Hancock, Texas, United States is a former United States Army post located in Hudspeth County, Texas, near the U.S.-Mexico border. The fort was established in 1882 to protect settlers and travelers from Apache raids. The fort was decommissioned in 1945 and is now a Texas state park.
