Ford City is a borough in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located at the confluence of the Allegheny River and Kiskiminetas River, approximately 35 miles northeast of Pittsburgh. The borough was founded in 1887 by John B. Ford, the founder of the Ford Motor Company. The borough has a rich industrial history, and was once a major center for the production of plate glass. The borough's climate is humid continental, with hot, humid summers and cold, snowy winters.
