Fließem is a municipality in the Bernkastel-Wittlich district of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is located in the Eifel region, near the border with Luxembourg. The village has a population of around 1,000 people. The average temperature in Fließem is 10°C (50°F), and the average annual precipitation is 800 mm (31 in). Fließem was first mentioned in a document in 1136. The village was part of the County of Vianden until 1794, when it was annexed by France. Fließem became part of Germany in 1815. The village is home to a number of historical buildings, including the Church of St. Martin, which was built in the 12th century.
