Fengyang is a town in Zhenba County, Hanzhong, Shaanxi, China. It is located in the Qinling Mountains, at an altitude of 1,100 meters (3,600 feet). The average annual temperature is 13°C (55°F), with hot summers and cold winters. The town has a long history, dating back to the Han Dynasty (206 BC-220 AD). It was an important military outpost during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), and was the birthplace of the Yongle Emperor (1360-1424). The town is home to a number of historical sites, including the Fengyang Temple, the Yongle Emperor's Mausoleum, and the Zhenba County Museum.
