Fellen is a municipality in the district of Main-Spessart in Bavaria, Germany. It is located in the Bavarian Spessart nature park, at an altitude of 340 m (1,120 ft) above sea level. The municipality has a population of around 850 people. The climate is temperate, with average temperatures ranging from -1°C in January to 18°C in July. Fellen was first mentioned in 1244 as "Velden". The village was part of the County of Rieneck until 1559, when it was acquired by the Archbishopric of Mainz. Fellen became part of Bavaria in 1814. The village has a rich history and heritage, with many historic buildings and monuments.
