Eichenbach is a municipality in the district of Ahrweiler in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is located in the Ahr Valley, approximately 25 kilometers southwest of Bonn. The climate is temperate, with average temperatures ranging from 5°C in January to 20°C in July. The village has a long history, dating back to the 12th century. It was first mentioned in a document from 1157. The village was part of the County of Jülich until 1794, when it was occupied by French troops. After the Congress of Vienna in 1815, Eichenbach became part of the Kingdom of Prussia.
