Edgewood is a town in Harford County, Maryland, United States, with a population of 25,562 as of the 2020 census. It is located approximately 10 miles northeast of Baltimore and is part of the Baltimore metropolitan area. The town has a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers and cold, snowy winters. Edgewood was founded in 1920 and was named after the nearby Edgewood Arsenal. The town is home to several historical sites, including the Battle of Edgewood Arsenal, which was fought during the War of 1812.
