Ðurđevo, Serbia, is a village in the municipality of Vršac, South Banat District, Vojvodina. The village is located in the Pannonian Plain, and its climate is humid continental. The average temperature in January is -1.4 °C (29.5 °F), and the average temperature in July is 21.5 °C (70.7 °F). The village was first mentioned in 1333, and it was part of the Ottoman Empire from 1552 to 1718. After the Treaty of Passarowitz, the village became part of the Habsburg Monarchy. In 1918, the village became part of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, and in 1945, it became part of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Since 2006, the village has been part of the Republic of Serbia.
