Dormelletto is a town in the province of Novara in the Piedmont region of Italy. It is located on the west bank of the Ticino River, about 15 km northwest of Novara. The town has a population of about 4,500 people. The climate is humid subtropical, with hot summers and cold winters. Dormelletto was first mentioned in a document from 999 AD. The town was part of the Duchy of Milan from the 13th to the 18th century. In 1743, it was ceded to the Kingdom of Sardinia. Dormelletto was part of the Kingdom of Italy from 1861 to 1946. The town has a number of historical buildings, including the Church of San Giovanni Battista, which was built in the 12th century.
