Dồng Xoài is a city in the southern Vietnamese province of Bình Phước, located approximately 100 kilometers north of Ho Chi Minh City. The city has a tropical monsoon climate with average temperatures ranging from 22 to 30 degrees Celsius throughout the year. Dồng Xoài was founded in the 17th century by the Khmer people and was known as Don Luan. It became a district in 1900 and was renamed Dồng Xoài in 1957. The city is home to several historical and cultural landmarks, including the Dồng Xoài Museum, which houses artifacts from the city's past, and the Bù Gia Mập National Park, which is known for its diverse flora and fauna.
