Cuzăplac, Romania is a village in the commune of Bucium, Sălaj County, Romania. It is located in the northwest of the country, in the Transylvanian Plain, at an altitude of 124 m (407 ft). The village has a population of 547 people and is crossed by the Crasna River. The climate is temperate continental, with hot summers and cold winters. The village was first mentioned in 1318 as "Villa Kuzaplac". In the 15th century, it was part of the Kingdom of Hungary. After the Ottoman conquest of Hungary, it became part of the Ottoman Empire. In the 18th century, it was part of the Principality of Transylvania. In 1867, it became part of the Kingdom of Romania. The village is home to the Cuzăplac Orthodox Church, which was built in 1824.
