Colleferro, also known as Kolleferro, is a town in the province of Rome, Lazio, central Italy. It is located in the Valle del Sacco, about 40 km east of Rome, on the railway line between Rome and Naples. The climate is typically Mediterranean, with hot, dry summers and mild, wet winters. The town was founded in 1884 as a railway junction and industrial center, and it has since grown into a thriving community with a population of around 22,000. Colleferro is home to a number of historical and cultural landmarks, including the Church of San Rocco, the Palazzo Municipale, and the Museo Civico Archeologico.
