Clio is a city in Genesee County, Michigan, United States, located about 50 miles (80 km) northwest of Detroit. It has a population of about 10,000 people and is known for its historic downtown area and its proximity to the Flint Hills Golf Club. The weather in Clio is typical of the Midwest, with cold, snowy winters and hot, humid summers. The city was founded in 1836 by a group of settlers from New York and was named after the Greek muse of history, Clio.
