Choybalsan, also known as Bain Tumen, is a city in eastern Mongolia, located at 48.0666700 latitude and 114.5000000 longitude. The city has a rich history, dating back to the 13th century when it was founded by Genghis Khan as a military outpost. It later became an important trading center and was known for its production of wool and cashmere. The city's current name was given in 1941 in honor of Khorloogiin Choibalsan, a Mongolian revolutionary leader.
