Cherokee Village is a city in Sharp County, Arkansas, United States, with a population of 4,717 as of the 2020 census. It is located in the Ozark Mountains of northern Arkansas, approximately 100 miles (160 km) northeast of Little Rock. The city has a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers and mild winters. Cherokee Village was founded in 1955 as a retirement community and has since become a popular tourist destination. The city is home to several golf courses, lakes, and hiking trails, as well as a number of historical sites related to the Cherokee people.
