Caselette, Piedmont, Italy, is a comune in the Metropolitan City of Turin. It is located at an altitude of 310 meters (1,020 feet) above sea level, in the Susa Valley, about 20 kilometers (12 miles) west of Turin. The climate is humid subtropical, with hot summers and cold, snowy winters. Caselette was first mentioned in a document from 1014, and its name is thought to derive from the Latin word "castellum", meaning "small castle". The town has a rich history and heritage, with many historical buildings and monuments, including the 12th-century Church of San Martino, the 15th-century Castle of Caselette, and the 18th-century Villa La Tesoriera.
