Campillo de Arenas is a municipality in the province of Jaén, Andalusia, Spain. It is located in the foothills of the Sierra Mágina mountains, at an altitude of 970 meters. The municipality has a population of 1,887 (2021). The weather in Campillo de Arenas is typically Mediterranean, with hot, dry summers and mild, wet winters. Campillo de Arenas has a rich heritage, including several churches, convents, and palaces. The most notable of these is the Church of San Pedro, which was built in the 16th century.
