The village has a population of approximately 1,300 residents and covers an area of about 2.5 square miles. Bull Valley is known for its rolling hills, lush greenery, and upscale homes. The village was founded in 1835 by a group of settlers from New York. It was originally named "Bull's Valley" after one of the settlers, James Bull. The village's name was later changed to "Bull Valley" in 1892. Bull Valley has a humid continental climate with warm summers and cold winters.
