Brusasco, also known as Brusasco-Cavagnolo, is a comune in the Province of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont. It is located on the left bank of the Po River, at the foot of the Monferrato hills. The climate is humid subtropical, with hot, humid summers and cold, wet winters. The average temperature in January is 3.6°C (38.5°F), while in July it is 23.8°C (74.8°F). The average annual precipitation is 850 mm (33.5 in). Brusasco has a long and rich history, dating back to the Roman era. In the Middle Ages, it was a fief of the Counts of Savoy. In the 16th century, it was acquired by the Spanish, who ruled it until the early 18th century. In 1706, it was ceded to the Kingdom of Sardinia. Brusasco is home to a number of historical and cultural landmarks, including the Church of San Rocco, the Palazzo Comunale, and the Museo della Civiltà Contadina.
