Broni, also known as Comiliomagus, is a comune in the province of Pavia, Lombardy, Italy. Located in the Oltrepò Pavese, it lies at the foot of the Apennine Mountains, about 30 km south of Pavia. The climate is humid subtropical, with hot summers and cool winters. The town has a long history, dating back to Roman times. In the Middle Ages, it was a fortified town, and it was later ruled by the Visconti and Sforza families. Broni is home to several historical buildings, including the Castello di Broni and the Chiesa di San Pietro.
