Breuschwickersheim is a small town in Alsace, France, located in the Bas-Rhin department, arrondissement of Strasbourg, and canton of Illkirch-Graffenstaden. It is situated 12 km southwest of Strasbourg, on the banks of the Bruche River. The climate is temperate, with an average annual temperature of 11 °C (52 °F). The town has a rich history, dating back to the Middle Ages. It was first mentioned in a document in 1125, and was part of the Holy Roman Empire until 1681, when it was annexed by France. The town's heritage is reflected in its many historic buildings, including the 12th-century church of Saint-Martin and the 16th-century town hall.
