Bradford is a village in Miami County, Ohio, United States, located at 40.1322700 latitude and -84.4307800 longitude. It is situated in the eastern part of the state, approximately 30 miles northwest of Dayton. The village has a humid continental climate, with hot, humid summers and cold, snowy winters. Bradford was founded in 1812 and was originally known as Brown's Station. It was renamed Bradford in 1833 in honor of Colonel James Bradford, a veteran of the War of 1812. The village has a rich history and heritage, and is home to several historic buildings, including the Bradford United Methodist Church, which was built in 1853.
