Bozieni, also known as Bozienii de Jus, is a commune in Neamț County, Romania, located at the confluence of the Bistrița and Cracău rivers. The area experiences a humid continental climate with warm, humid summers and cold, snowy winters. Historically, Bozieni was first mentioned in 1438 and was part of the Principality of Moldavia until its union with Wallachia in 1859. The commune is known for its cultural heritage, including the Bozieni Monastery, founded in 1600.
