Boffalora d'Adda, Lombardy, Italy, is a comune located in the province of Lodi, in the region of Lombardy, Italy. The town is situated on the left bank of the Adda River, about 15 kilometers (9 miles) southeast of Milan. The climate is humid subtropical, with hot summers and cold winters. Boffalora d'Adda has a long history, dating back to the Roman era. The town was first mentioned in a document from 961 AD, and it was later ruled by the Visconti and Sforza families. In the 16th century, Boffalora d'Adda became part of the Duchy of Milan, and it remained under Spanish rule until the 18th century. The town is home to several historical buildings, including the Church of San Giorgio, which was built in the 12th century, and the Palazzo Visconti, which was built in the 15th century.
