Bodegraven is a municipality and town in the Dutch province of South Holland. The municipality also includes the village of Reeuwijk. Bodegraven is located in the west of the Netherlands, about 10 km (6.2 mi) southwest of Utrecht. The weather in Bodegraven is temperate, with average temperatures ranging from 3 °C (37 °F) in January to 18 °C (64 °F) in July. The town has a long history, dating back to the 11th century. It was granted city rights in 1407. Bodegraven is home to several historical buildings, including the 15th-century Grote Kerk (Great Church) and the 17th-century Stadhuis (Town Hall).
