Billings, Missouri, is a small town located in the southern part of the state, approximately 80 miles southwest of Springfield. The town has a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers and mild winters. Billings was founded in 1882 and was named after Frederick Billings, the president of the Northern Pacific Railroad. The town has a rich history and heritage, with many of its original buildings still standing today.
