Beyşehir, Konya, Turkey, also known as Bejshekhir, is a district and town located in the southwestern part of Turkey, at the northern edge of Lake Beyşehir. It has a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and cool, wet winters. Beyşehir has a rich history and heritage, dating back to the Hittite period. The town was an important center of the Beylik of Teke during the 13th and 14th centuries, and it was later ruled by the Ottomans. Beyşehir is home to several historical sites, including the Beyşehir Castle, the Ulu Mosque, and the Mevlana Museum.
