Barabinsk is a town in Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia, located on the Trans-Siberian Railway, approximately 316 kilometers west of Novosibirsk. It has a population of around 30,000 people. The climate in Barabinsk is continental, with cold winters and warm summers. The town was founded in 1745 as a fortress and became a railway station in 1894. Barabinsk is home to several historical buildings, including the Church of the Nativity of Christ and the railway station.
