Baoyou is a town in Ledong Li Autonomous County, Hainan, China. It is located at 18.7493200°N, 109.1717200°E, in the south-central part of the island. The town has a tropical climate, with average temperatures ranging from 22 to 28 degrees Celsius throughout the year. Baoyou has a long history, dating back to the Ming Dynasty. The town was originally known as Lo-an, and was renamed Baoyou in 1950. Baoyou is home to a number of historical and cultural sites, including the Baoyou Temple, the Baoyou Ancient City Wall, and the Baoyou Museum.
