Baldwin is a borough in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located 10 miles (16 km) southwest of downtown Pittsburgh and is part of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. The borough has a population of 19,767 as of the 2020 census. Baldwin was founded in 1814 and was named after the Reverend Thomas Baldwin, a Presbyterian minister who served the area. The borough is home to several historical sites, including the Baldwin-Whitehall Historic District and the Hays-Baldwin United Presbyterian Church. Baldwin is also home to the Pittsburgh International Airport, which is the busiest airport in Pennsylvania.
