Băiculești is a commune in Argeș County, Romania, with a population of 5,164 inhabitants. Located in the southern part of the county, the commune is composed of five villages: Băiculești, Broșteni, Izbășești, Lăpușani and Valea Corbului. The area has a temperate continental climate, with hot summers and cold winters. The commune was first attested in 1526, and its name is derived from the Romanian word "baicu", meaning "old man".
