Bacoor is a city in the province of Cavite, in the Calabarzon region of the Philippines. It is located on the southern shores of Manila Bay, approximately 15 kilometers southwest of Manila. The city has a tropical monsoon climate, with an average temperature of 27°C (81°F) throughout the year. Bacoor has a rich history and heritage, dating back to the pre-colonial period. It was originally inhabited by the Tagalog people, and was later ruled by the Spanish from the 16th to the 19th centuries. The city played an important role in the Philippine Revolution, and was the site of the Battle of Bacoor in 1898. Today, Bacoor is a thriving city with a population of over 600,000 people. It is home to a number of historical and cultural landmarks, including the Bacoor Church, the Bacoor Museum, and the Las Piñas-Parañaque-Bacoor Wetland Park.
