Andravída is a town in the Elis regional unit, Western Greece, with a population of 2,131 (2011 census). It is situated 5 km from the Ionian Sea, on the western side of the Pineios River. The town is known for its mild climate, with an average annual temperature of 16°C (61°F). Andravída has a rich history, dating back to the Byzantine era. The town was once the site of a major Frankish castle, which was destroyed by the Ottomans in the 15th century. Today, Andravída is a popular tourist destination, with several historical sites and beaches nearby.
