Allison Park is a borough in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located 12 miles (19 km) northeast of downtown Pittsburgh, at the intersection of U.S. Route 22 and Pennsylvania Route 8. The borough has a population of 2,348 (2020 census). Allison Park was founded in 1803 by John Allison, a Revolutionary War veteran. The borough was named after Allison and his wife, Sarah. The borough was originally part of Harmar Township, but it was incorporated as a separate borough in 1873. Allison Park is home to several historic buildings, including the Allison House, which was built in 1804 and is the oldest house in the borough.
