Albalate del Arzobispo is a municipality located in the province of Teruel, Aragon, Spain, at an altitude of 906 meters above sea level. The municipality has a Mediterranean climate with an average annual temperature of 13.4 °C and an average annual precipitation of 366 mm. The history of Albalate del Arzobispo dates back to the Roman era, when it was known as Albalate de las Nogueras. The town was later conquered by the Moors in the 8th century and remained under Muslim rule until the 13th century, when it was reconquered by the Christians. The town's heritage includes the Church of Santa María, which was built in the 14th century, and the Hermitage of San Roque, which was built in the 16th century.
