Alapayevsk is a city in Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia, located on the eastern slope of the Ural Mountains at the confluence of the Alapaikha and Neyva Rivers. It has a population of around 38,000 people and is known for its rich history and cultural heritage, including the Alapayevsk Iron and Steel Works, founded in 1704, and the Alapayevsk Museum of Local Lore, which houses a collection of artifacts from the city's past. The city also has a number of architectural landmarks, including the Church of the Holy Trinity, built in 1704, and the Alapayevsk Drama Theater, founded in 1930.
