José Ely de Miranda, known as Zito, was a Brazilian football midfielder born on August 18, 1932, in Rosiera. His career spanned from 1952 to 1967, during which he played 733 games and scored 57 goals for Santos FC. Zito won numerous titles, including nine Copa São Paulo, four consecutive Copa do Brasil, and two Copa Libertadores. He was part of the Brazil national team that won the FIFA World Cups in 1958 and 1962. He passed away on June 15, 2015, at the age of 82.
