Born on October 5, 1933, she became the long-time muse and lover of the renowned poet Rashad Hashim, inspiring his famous poem 'The One Who Makes The Sun Shine'. Tragically, Mahjoub passed away on May 28, 1957, during childbirth with her third child, marking the end of her artistic contributions but cementing her legacy in Sudanese literature.
