He served as the Deputy Secretary of the Hangzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and was also the Vice Chairman of the Hangzhou Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. His political career included significant leadership roles within local government, contributing to regional administration and party affairs.
