Born on October 12, 1902, in Mikołajów, he became known for his contributions during a tumultuous period in Poland's history. Tragically, he fell victim to the Katyń massacre, a notorious wartime atrocity, in the spring of 1940 in Kharkiv. His legacy is intertwined with the struggles for Polish independence and the historical memory of the victims of the massacre.
