Yury Semenovich Martemyanov (August 12, 1930 – November 28, 2003) was a Russian linguist and translator known for his work in syntax theory, general semantics, pragmatics, and automatic translation. He translated from French, Romanian, Italian, and Hungarian. Martemyanov was a member of the Union of Writers of the USSR within the translators' section since 1985.
